This article was more about casual acquaintances than long-term relationships. Perhaps I should have made that more clear. With that said, I am not promoting ghosting. Ghosting is shitty.

However, in my experience, I find that many of the people who complain about being ghosted are also the same people who get angry/violent when someone is honest with them. When you are the person ending the relationship you can never win. The other person's feelings are going to get hurt no matter what.

Instead of shaming people who ghost, perhaps grown adults could do a better job of managing their emotions when being rejected and maybe ghosting would not happen as much.
